Microsoft and the City of Porto recently hosted the second Microsoft Local & Regional Government Solutions Forum. This year the Forum visited the beautiful and historic city of Porto, a city already embracing a solution from the Microsoft Citizen Service Platform (CSP) which was formally launched at this event.

The purpose of this event was to showcase solutions, the partners who develop them and the local and regional governments like the City of Porto, who are delivering real benefits to their citizens through the innovative use of the Microsoft platform. In addition to a wide range of solutions presented by customers and partners from across Europe, we heard keynote presentations from internationally respected experts on Cities, Regions and ICT as well as roundtable discussions from local and regional government leaders.

The Forum agenda provided the variety and value throughout the two day event to inform and inspire delegates with ample time to network with peers, Microsoft Partners at the exhibition and Microsoft hosts.
